Note: Our hospital policy is that ALL pets
admitted for anesthesia MUST HAVE a
pre-anesthetic blood profile. To keep costs
down on spays and neuters we will make an
exception if patient's physical exam is
normal. It is simply prudent medicine. It is still
highly recommended that young animals being
spayed or neutered have this testing. We also
dispense oral anti-pain medication after
surgeries.

Grooming: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. There are
too many sizes and coats to give accurate fees over the
phone. Sometimes the groomer needs to see the pet.

Betty does most breeds of dogs. She will also do
cats but she likes to have them sedated. Appointments are
required. Be sure to schedule early around major holidays.
Betty, in our opinion, is the best groomer
west of the Mississippi !!!
Dr. Fischer has a special interest in
otology, "ears". He has purchased special
equipment for superb visualization of the external
ear. The equipment features an endoscopic
camera and operating channel. The ear drum
can be punctured (myringotomy) and the middle
ear flushed. Ear medicine and surgery requires
very good cooperation between doctor, patient
and client. Frequent return visits are necessary
to assure the problem has been addressed.
Boarding: Indoor climate-controlled runs and
compartments. Our current Kennel Technicians, Milissa
and Rachel, are great. They both love animals and they
work hard to keep them happy while staying away from
home.
Holiday spaces for boarding are a
problem--please schedule ahead!
